Dispatcher

The Dispatcher position at UOWS is responsible for coordinating and managing daily operations.*Requirements:** High school or GED* Two plus years of proven field dispatch experience or relevant experience* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders* Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service rules* Strong understanding of transportation; oilfield experience preferred* Transportation management systems background is strongly preferred* Attention to detail and ability to manage varied tasks at the same time*Duties:** Receive and process service requests from clients, accurately gathering details and scheduling needs.* Dispatch water trucks and drivers to assigned locations, optimizing routes and ensuring timely deliveries.* Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, keeping them informed of job updates, route changes, and any potential challenges.* Monitor driver activity and track the progress of water deliveries.* Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch logs and records, ensuring all service requests are documented effectively.* Assist with customer service inquiries, addressing questions and concerns promptly.This job description outlines key responsibilities and preferred qualifications for the Dispatcher.
