Delivery Dispatcher – Windows Department Direct Lumber and Door is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Delivery Dispatcher to join our Windows Department. This role is responsible for coordinating delivery schedules, routing trucks, and serving as a key liaison between sales teams, drivers, and customers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily delivery schedules and route trucks efficientlyCommunicate with sales teams, customers, and drivers to ensure smooth operationsVerify next-day deliveries prior to loading and confirm customer approvalInspect and verify all outgoing orders against pick ticketsManage delivery documentation, including required signatures and recordsMonitor back orders, delivery issues, and damaged materials, and resolve accordinglyAssign and adjust driver routes to balance workload and maximize efficiencyMaintain driver logs, trip reports, and ensure regulatory complianceAssist with inventory control, including cycle counts and discrepancy reportingSupport fleet maintenance scheduling and repairsAddress delivery-related concerns, complaints, and service issuesAssist in warehouse operations, including loading/unloading when neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualifications Previous dispatch experience preferredConstruction or building materials industry experience preferredStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple prioritiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishWhy Join Us?
