Position Overview This position is located in the Office of the Deputy Chair for Programs and Partnerships at the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The incumbent will provide support primarily for the work and activities of the National Council on the Arts (Council) to maximize the Council's contribution to the development and implementation of agency programs and policies.Qualifications At least one year of specialized experience at the GS‑09 grade level or equivalent in the federal service, private sector, or public sector, demonstrating: Coordination of council, board, or advisory committee meeting processes across multiple offices, ensuring workflow, deadlines, and required procedures are followed.Application of organizational programs, functions, policies, and procedures to support meeting preparation, materials development, and administrative coordination.Drafting and editing documents, briefing materials, correspondence, or reports for internal and external circulation.Use of computer applications and tracking tools to prepare, organize, review, and maintain meeting materials accurately and efficiently.Provision of subject‑matter input and coordination across disciplines.Graduated degree requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher‑level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M. if related.Or a combination of specialized experience and education where the total of experience months divided by 12 plus graduate semester hours beyond the first two years divided by 18 equals at least 100% to qualify for the GS‑11 level.#J-18808-Ljbffr
