Dispatcher - Truss Manufacturing

Job Summary:
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the daily delivery schedule of roof and floor trusses, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and efficiently. This role communicates with drivers, production, customers, and field personnel to optimize routes, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate shipping records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch deliveries based on production and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with drivers, production teams, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor delivery progress and communicate schedule changes as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documents and delivery records.
  • Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Respond to delivery issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and transportation regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with computers and dispatch/logistics software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Coordinate delivery times and total hours for load building, checking and staging

Prepare delivery analyses to improve delivery efficiency

Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, addresses, time of
