Associate - Immigration

BakerHostetler's Columbus office is seeking an Immigration associate with 2-4 years of relevant experience to join its nationally recognized Labor and Employment Group, which is highly ranked by Chambers USA and Best Law Firms. A strong interest and background in employment-based immigration is important.Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience practicing employment-based immigration law, including securing temporary work visas and permanent residency (green card) solutions for foreign nationalsExperience advising employers on complex I-9 compliance and E-Verify requirementsProven experience preparing and filing H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-2, TN, and O-1 petitions, as well as permanent residence applications, including PERM, I-140, and I-485 mattersJ.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic recordActive license to practice law in OhioSuccessful Candidates Will Demonstrate: Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, persuasive guidance to clients and colleaguesThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritize competing demands, and proactively identify and address potential issuesA collaborative, client-focused approach, supported by strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to team successWhy BakerHostetler?
