Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Administrative Support Assistant provides administrative support for the Student Services Center/EOP Satellite by coordinating office operations, assisting students and visitors, maintaining departmental records and financial documentation, scheduling appointments and events, and supporting projects, workshops, and student success initiatives.
- Serves as the receptionist and first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Assesses student needs; schedules advising appointments and workshops through EAB; and makes referrals to appropriate campus resources.
- Assists in coordinating the daily operations of the Student Services Center/EOP Satellite.
- Initiates and processes service requests, travel requests, reimbursements, student assistant payroll, and personnel-related documents.
- Reserves rooms and coordinates administrative logistics for workshops, meetings, and special events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Equivalent to three (3) years of full-time, general office clerical work that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed.
- Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related field may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year for year basis.

- Organizes multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.
- Maintains confidential records and exercises sound judgment and discretion.
- Uses Microsoft Office applications, database systems, and administrative software effectively.
- Collaborates effectively while working independently to support departmental operations.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

- Classification: 1032 / Admin Support Assistant / Grade 2
- The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $3565 - $3783 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $3565 - $5092 per month.
- HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
- This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
- The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
