Summary
The Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, timely, and high-quality execution of daily operations by providing accurate information, clear instructions, and maintaining continuous communication with management, staff, and customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, dispatch, administration, or hospitality, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service by coordinating daily operations effectively
- Establish check-in times, organize schedules, and ensure all necessary materials are prepared
- Maintain open communication with staff to ensure efficient operations
- Pay close attention to special instructions and operational details
- Monitor local events, road closures, and traffic conditions to prevent service disruptions
- Coordinate lunch orders and admissions with vendors
- Regularly update the reservations system
- Familiarity with local roads and landmarks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees and customers in a professional and approachable manner
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, gather information, and draw valid conclusions
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Starting pay between $19.50-$25.00 per hour, with higher rates considered for highly qualified candidates
