Major Duties
This position reports directly to the Assistant Director for OCA.
OCA leads the FBI's efforts before Congress to advance the organization's mission of rebuilding public trust and fostering fierce organizational accountability by strategically advocating for the FBI through proactive Congressional engagements and information sharing; effectively responding to Congressional requests to advance and protect FBI equities; and vigorously partnering with FBI stakeholders to successfully engage with Congress.
The Section is responsible for the following but not limited to: developing Congressional engagement and sharing strategies; managing Congressional constituent matters; coordinating Congressional requests for hearings, briefings, and document productions; preparing and reviewing testimony and responses to Congressional inquiries; analyzing proposed legislation; providing guidance to FBI stakeholders in preparation for Congressional engagements; and liaising with other Federal agencies regarding legislative and Congressional matters.
