Position Summary Davenport Works is seeking a highly motivated Hazardous Materials Coordinator to oversee and support the facility's Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials (DG/HM) transportation compliance program. The successful candidate will maintain compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous materials regulations, coordinate employee training programs, support hazardous materials shipping and receiving operations, and serve as a subject matter expert for hazardous material transportation requirements. Required Qualifications Current 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Certification (required).Minimum 3 years of experience in hazardous materials transportation, environmental compliance, logistics, shipping/receiving, or a related field. Demonstrated knowledge of: DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR). Hazard classification, marking, labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation requirements. Hazardous material employee training requirements and record retention. Regulatory compliance and audit preparation. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise business systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience coordinating hazardous materials programs in a manufacturing environment. Certifications or experience with IMDG and IATA regulations. Experience conducting compliance audits and employee training. SAP experience and familiarity with shipping documentation processes.
