This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys client interaction, depositions, and litigation while making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals diagnosed with asbestos-related diseases. As a member of our Deposition Team, you will represent clients across the country, conduct client and witness interviews, prepare and take depositions, and collaborate with an experienced team of attorneys dedicated to plaintiff asbestos litigation. This role offers excellent mentorship, nationwide litigation experience, significant client interaction, competitive compensation, and outstanding benefits. What You'll Do
- Represent individuals injured by asbestos exposure and asbestos-related diseases
- Conduct client consultations and witness interviews in both English and Spanish
- Prepare asbestos litigation matters from intake through deposition
- Conduct fact witness depositions
- Review Social Security, medical, military, employment, and union records
- Draft deposition summaries and litigation documentation
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support teams
- Travel approximately 80% throughout the United States to meet clients and witnesses
- Deliver compassionate legal representation to seriously ill clients and their families
- Licensed attorney in any U.S. state
- Missouri or Illinois Bar preferred
- Must reside in Missouri, Illinois, Florida, Louisiana, California, New York, or Washington D.C.
- 2-5 years of litigation, personal injury, asbestos litigation, or deposition experience
- Fluency in Spanish (required)
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills
- Strong deposition and client interview skills preferred
- Ability to travel extensively
