Is this stated salary acceptable to you?What You'll Do The Compliance Coordinator is responsible to ensure stations meet all Local, Federal, and Corporate mandates, regulations, and corporate directives. This role must maintain detailed records and present discrepancies to station leadership or elevate issues to headquarters as necessary. The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for investigating irregularities and interfacing with both regulatory agencies and internal subject matter experts.Areas of oversight may include, but not limited to:Dangerous Goods regulationsHazardous waste storage and handling proceduresFAA, TSA, DOT, and FDA regulationsEnvironmental, Safety, Security, and OSHA regulationsCompliance for above/below the wing operations including Business Partner OperationsReview Internal Control standards to ensure the safeguarding of company assets and maintain a financially fit stationConduct effective compliance reviews and proactively identify, investigate, and resolve areas of concernGSE and Facility preventative maintenanceInteracts with American Airlines leadership and outside regulatory agenciesAll you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience High School diploma or GED equivalencyLeadership with practical coaching experienceAbility to work varying hours and shifts to meet business requirements and workload demandPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's Degree in related fieldCustomer service experienceSkills, Licenses & Certifications Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authoritiesAbility to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicableIntermediate to advanced knowledge of computer experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPointSatisfactory completion of written testExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to accomplish multiple tasks within a limited timeframeAbility to work independently and make sound decisions using individual judgmentWhat You'll Get Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
