Unarmed Security Officer
We are seeking reliable, observant, and professional individuals to join our security team in Le Mars, Iowa. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe environment for a corporation with facilities all across town and ensuring the well-being of all employees and visitors onsite.

Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- has a high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license and clean driving record (for vehicle patrols)
- must be able to pass an extensive background check
- strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods and operate a motor vehicle safely.
What a Typical Shift Looks Like:
- Stationary Officer Post: Conduct facility foot patrols, interact with employees and visitors, log visitors in and out of the site, complete and submit daily activity logs, other safety duties as assigned by the facility manager.
- Multi-facility Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of various facilities using both company vehicles and foot patrols to ensure all areas are secure.
- Surveillance & Deterrence: Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules; identify and report suspicious activity immediately.
- Employee Safety: Provide a safe environment for staff by monitoring entry points and assisting with safety escorts when requested.
- Incident Response: Act as a first responder to alarms, medical emergencies, or safety hazards, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate daily activity logs and compose detailed incident reports for management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equal
- 2 years customer service
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check
