Summary
Stat Room Dispatcher The role of the Stat Room Dispatcher is to provide a support service to the hospital; while making on time deliveries to all locations within the hospital. The employee is responsible for the daily receiving, storing and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and medical equipment in this department in the hospital.Schedule: Mon - Fri 3:00PM-11:30PMResponsibilities:Ability to Dispatch and Transport designated items.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability to completing daily client requests.Deliver and understand all service areas of the BCH Campus, and adjacent Hospital's (Brigham and Women's, Dana Farber, etc.).Perform visual inspections to ensure that materials are identified as per the PO.Discard products outside of expirations dates.Report discrepancies in a timely manner to direct oversight.Qualifications:Years of Experience: Previous hospital experience required, previous inventory experience a plusLanguage Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and writtenEducation Requirements: High School Diploma/GEDRequirements:Must be at least 18 years oldBe able to pass a criminal background checkBe able to walk throughout the hospitalAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a height of 5 feetAbility to stand for a long period of time, stooping and bending at the waistStrong customer service backgroundStrong organization and time management skillsAbility to operate a phone
