Dispatch/Operations SupportWe are seeking to fill a role of Dispatch/Operations Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a household goods and commercial moving warehouse.ResponsibilitiesManage daily dispatching: assign crews, route planning, and schedule adjustments for household and commercial movesMonitor job progress and update stakeholders (customers, crews, operations manager) in real timeRespond quickly to emails, phone messages, and low-level crew requests; provide on-the-spot problem solvingCoordinate truck and crew resources to maximize efficiency and meet ETA commitmentsEnter and maintain accurate dispatch, job, and inventory records in company systemsTrack equipment, supplies, and fuel usage; notify manager of shortages or maintenance needsEscalate operational issues and safety concerns to the Operations Manager when appropriateSupport billing/admin tasks: verify job details, capture required paperwork, and upload documentsAssist with last-minute scheduling changes, cancellations, and emergency customer requestsEnsure accurate warehouse paperwork is completed and turned into operationsEnsure orders arriving from returning crews are properly and timely handled by crews and/or warehouseCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersOperate and maintain preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipmentDisplay strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skillsKeep a clean and safe working environmentRequired Skills & Qualifications1–3 years customer service, dispatch, logistics, or operations support experience (moving industry experience a plus)Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional phone/email etiquetteProficient with computers and common software (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office); ability to learn dispatch/CRM systems quicklyExcellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environmentOperate a sit down 5,000 LB forkliftProblem-solver who stays calm under pressure and makes timely decisionsReliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (occasional evenings/weekends/onsite as needed)Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as requiredWork Environment & CompensationFull-time, hourly position with potential for overtimeReports to Operations Manager; hybrid of office and field coordinationCompetitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancementEducationHigh School GED or certifications with equivalent experience.The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates within this classification.
