The Superintendent will oversee construction projects in the property industry, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams and coordinate site activities effectively. Client Details Our client is a well established General Contractor in Minnesota. With a focus on Multi-family, Senior Living, Affordable Housing, Mixed-Use, Historical Renovation, Education, Healthcare, and Adaptive re-use projects, this firm is working on some of Ohio's most prominent and high profile projects. Description The key responsibilities of a Superintendent are: Leading and managing the on-site construction team. Coordinating and overseeing all work on site. Attending production meetings. Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these. Ensuring quality standards are met. Placing orders for materials, and being responsible for equipment and materials on site. Following the project time line to ensure deadlines are met. Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness. Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs. Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals Profile The Successful Superintendent will have: 10+ years of experience with a commercial contractor or equivalent industry experience Demonstrated leadership ability of project teams with successful outcomes In depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower Proficient in basic use and functions of a personal computer OSHA 30-Hour Certification Experience with Scheduling Good time management skills The ability to work in a fast paced environment Job Offer What is offered for a Superintendent is: Diverse project selection $1 million - $50 million Fast-Track promotion path based solely on merit, not tenure.
