Summary
Job Title
Observes and evaluates employee and customer activity in both gaming and non-gaming areas. Remains current on all Tribal, State, and Federal gaming rules and regulations. Advises shift supervisor and submits appropriate reports when incidents, infractions, and violation occur. Ensures compliance of all company and departmental policies and procedures.

- Previous surveillance experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor all customer and employee activity in both gaming and non-gaming areas.
- Remains current on all Tribal, State, and Federal gaming rules and regulations.
- Notifies supervisor and submits any appropriate reports when incidents, infractions and violations occur.
- Ensures compliance of all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of casino operations, casino games as well as cheating and embezzlement scams
- General knowledge of video surveillance systems
- Performs other administrative duties as directed by Surveillance Manager

The team member is regularly required to stand, for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

The team member is regularly exposed to risk of radiation (from computers), as a great deal of the workday is spent working on spreadsheets or inputting data into the computer system.
Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must handle hazardous materials. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public contact.

Candidates for this position will be required to have dependable transportation available to them. Must also maintain a valid Driver's License and be insurable on our company's policy throughout your time of employment with the casino.
