The City of Nacogdoches Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our Streets Division! This role directly impacts the safety and appearance of our city streets and infrastructure.

What You Will Do:

• Road Maintenance: Patch potholes, seal cracks and repair streets using asphalt and concrete.
• Traffic Safety: Paint crosswalks, parking lines and maintain traffic signage.
• Groundskeeping: Trim vegetation and prune rights-of-way.
• Manual Labor: Load/unload heavy materials and operate hand tools and equipment.
• Equipment Care: Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in street maintenance OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid Texas Driver License.
