As the Training Specialist, you will assist with new hire orientation, continued development, and provide education and support to both field personnel and internal staff. The Training Specialist will track the progress of individuals through offered programs to ensure all business goals and objectives are achieved. This dynamic, high-visibility role will provide support to various departments by means of video calls, phone calls and email. This individual must maintain strong industry knowledge and keep pace with changes in program material, department processes and goals.Key Responsibilities Provide orientation and education to new field and internal personnel through courses, educational videos, and one-on-one sessions as neededMonitor training operations to identify opportunities to expand service offerings and/or improve processes via identification of best practicesRegularly report progress against established goals. Adjust goals and communicate new goals as circumstances requireCoach and mentor field personnel and internal staffProvide feedback regarding training material to Training ManagerAssist in developing and maintaining training materialEnsure the onboarding and training of new field representatives and internal personnel in a timely mannerMaintain strong communications with the other departmentsThis is a full-time, remote position.Skills, knowledge & expertise Bachelors' degree in related field OR equivalent work experience in Personal and Commercial Lines InsuranceThree years of experience in the insurance inspection industry or a related field is preferred (significant relevant experience can substitute for the education/specific industry requirement)Results Oriented: Achieves business goals, meets quality, service, and productivity standards, and meets deadlinesLeadership/Training Development: Confident, inspires and motivates others, influences effectively, accepts and gives feedback, recognizes others' contributionsExcellent planning and organizational skills: Prioritizes and plans work efficiently, sets goals, and develops action plansSuperb oral and written communication skillsPossess the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyEqual Employment Opportunity & Legal Notices Benefits At Davies North America, we are dedicated to supporting the well‑being and future of our qualifying employees.
