This is a future position anticipated for summer 2026.Summary:Lead systems engineering for advanced satellite and communications systems.Drive system development, integration, and comprehensive requirements analysis.Oversee program lifecycle, including progress, risk, cost, and schedule management.Provide technical leadership for critical research and development efforts.Qualifications & Compensation:Degree: Minimum B.S. degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer ScienceYears of experience: 1+ yearsSalary: $173k+ yearly compensation, pending final rate confirmationJob Description:Direct and execute full lifecycle systems engineering for satellite and communications systems.Lead integration and test (I&T) activities, ensuring system performance and reliability.Develop and manage system requirements, conducting detailed analysis.Apply program management principles to monitor and control project progress, risks, costs, and schedules.Mentor and guide technical teams, fostering innovation in R&D initiatives.Leverage a strong mathematical foundation to address complex engineering problems.Advise and justify the best feasible approach to be taken for each solution proposed.Formulate and recommend specific work requirements, priorities, and resource allocations necessary to accomplish long-range plans for the assigned areas.Ability to develop system flow-down requirements specifying top level system requirements and their flow down relationships with individual subsystems.Utilize a broad knowledge of specialties within the engineering discipline to assure system integrity by establishing compatibility between equipment, other subsystems, and components.Provide overall leadership and direction for pioneering innovative Research and Development (R&D) efforts to address previously unattainable capabilities and characteristics.About SYSTOLIC:SYSTOLIC is dedicated to giving our employees the best possible company experience so that they can focus on providing outstanding support to their customer's mission.
