Our team is committed to improving the lives of every individual that walks through our doors.Affordable Health InsuranceFree Dental InsuranceFree Life InsuranceState Retirement13 paid holidays, including your birthdayPersonal and Medical leave accruing monthlyFMLA benefitsFlexible Spending AccountsDeferred CompEmployee Assistance ProgramStudent Loan forgiveness through HRSA for qualifying employeesLPC SupervisionMileage Reimbursement (as applicable)Voluntary Additional Life and Disability InsuranceJob ResponsibilitiesTherapy (group, individual, family); crisis management; direct clinical services for a broad range of Mental Health needs with adults and children to include diagnostic impressions, clinical assessments and referrals as needed.Job DutiesBuild collaborative professional partnerships with community stakeholders including local police department, sheriff's department and hospital(s).Reduce the number of unnecessary involuntary commitment affidavits filed by collaborating with staff at the Chancery Clerk's office and assessing client need and affiant report.Reduce unnecessary admissions to Mississippi State Hospital and other DMH facilities by performing pre-evaluation screenings, monitoring commitment evaluations and hearings, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate dispensation of cases.Work with local authorities, on site when warranted, to assess mental health needs in the event that mental health is thought to be contributing factor during law enforcement interventions.Assess individuals in need to determine which services/interventions/resources will be most appropriate for them and refer as needed.Provide case and/or program consultation with family and outside resources (agencies) as needed.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Mental Health FieldEligible to meet DMH Certification/Licensure requirements for Therapist (CMHT)Valid Mississippi Driver's License#J-18808-Ljbffr
