As a Security Officer Loss Prevention Patrol in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to routine concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Thur 05:15 PM - 01:15 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access issues.
• Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity, verifying authorization in accordance with site policies and supporting visitor management procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
