Summary

To support a growing team in Bethesda, Maryland, the full-time Maryland Licensed Fire Protection Engineer will review architectural designs, conduct construction inspections, and provide technical guidance on fire protection systems in a hybrid work environment.Key responsibilitiesReview architectural and engineering designs and fire protection system shop drawings for over 50 buildingsConduct construction inspections and issue final occupancy permitsEvaluate existing building conditions through life safety and hazard analysis surveysRequired qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related engineering field4+ years of Fire Protection experienceMust hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Fire ProtectionExperience supporting healthcare and/or laboratory environments, including familiarity with chemical hazards (NFPA codes 30 and 45)Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
