Lebanon Fire Department (LFD) responds to approximately 1700 calls FiresNatural coverStructuralVehicleHazardous Materials (HAZMAT) releasesMedical emergenciesTechnical rescuesWHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGPerforming work as a team member in firefighting, fire prevention, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), emergency and non-emergency services, rescue work, etc.Participates in public relations (PR) education, events and/or programsMaintains and cleans LFD apparatus, buildings, equipment, and grounds; and daily duties as directed by department policy, procedures, and operating guidelinesQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma (or equivalent) LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONValid Driver's License Possess OR obtain:Missouri Firefighter I CertificationMissouri Firefighter II CertificationMedical First Responder (MFR) CertificationHazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Awareness CertificationHazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Operations CertificationMissouri Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license, or higherValid American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) CertificationEMT-I/Paramedic:Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CertificationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) National Incident Management System (NIMS) Certifications:NIMS-100 ? Introduction to Incident Command Systems (ICS)NIMS-200 ? ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action IncidentsNIMS-700 ?
