Your Role: Emergency Services Officer / Security Officer
As an Emergency Services Officer, you will be part of the Clinton Labs Emergency Services team to deliver world-class asset protection, life safety, and emergency response. In this role, you'll be responsible for advancing site safety through fire mitigation, hazardous materials response, and medical services to protect our people and our enterprise.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide primary response to all fires, spills, rescues, and medical incidents while operating effectively under an incident command structure.
- Maintain and inspect life safety and fire protection systems, ensuring all emergency response equipment and vehicles are mission-ready.
- Manage site asset protection through perimeter checks, surveillance, and access control while serving as a professional interface for all visitors and contractors.
- Develop and deliver emergency response training scenarios, serving as a subject matter expert for the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Execute administrative and safety duties including process hazard reviews, weather monitoring, and the maintenance of confidential site documentation.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Current or prior participation on an emergency response team (Fire Brigade/Hazmat) with active FF I/II, Hazmat Awareness/Ops, and EMT-B certifications.
- Top Skills: Proficiency in emergency medical and firefighting tactics; strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under high-stress conditions.
- Demonstrated leadership ability within emergency response or another professional capacity.
- Qualified to serve as Incident Commander within a site incident command system.
- State of Indiana Hazardous Materials Technician or International fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) Hazmat Technician and Confine space and Ropes operations (or must obtain within 2 years of accepting job offer).
- Location: Clinton, IN - On-site manufacturing environment
- Overtime may be required
- 12-hour night shift (4:30pm-4:45am)
