Colt's Manufacturing Company, LLC is looking for Second and Third Shift Armed Security Guards.Job Summary:
The Armed Security Guard is responsible for protecting property, assets, personnel, and visitors through vigilant surveillance and immediate response to threats. This role requires carrying a firearm and upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security of premises.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for unusual activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
- Conduct security checks and enforce access control procedures.
- Deter criminal activity through visible presence and proactive engagement.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs.
- Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations and emergencies.
- Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining confidentiality.
- Follow all state and federal regulations regarding the use of firearms and force.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid armed security license and permits as required by state law.
- Prior experience as a security guard or law enforcement officer is preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle confrontational situations with professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Working Conditions:
- May involve working nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to various weather conditions during outdoor patrols.
- Requires standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.

Employment is contingent upon maintaining active security credentials and firearm permits.
