Target Salary Range*:$90,000 - $91,000

Position Overview

The Activity Security Representative II provides multidisciplinary security support to a customer's facility and organization, including day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Key Responsibilities
Document and Information Security
  • Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
  • Assist with maintaining a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
  • Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
  • Perform destruction of classified materials.
  • Process magnetic media for accountability.
  • Provide reproduction support for classified materials.
  • Maintain daily logs for administrative functions associated with document control.
  • Assist with processing inbound data and outbound data transfer files.
  • Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.
Personnel and Facility Security
  • Maintain an extensive customer database point-of-contact listing.
  • Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.
  • Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs.
  • Assist with preparing facility access control badges.
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections.
  • Assist with maintaining facility access control entry systems, including visitor control.
  • Perform data entry into the Personnel Access Security System database.
  • Maintain all customer-sponsored billets and quota information.
  • Assist with maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.
Security Operations and Administrative Support
  • Follow and enforce the customer's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide support for security awareness and education programs.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or Senior Security Representative.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 35 years of related experience [Required].
  • Special Access Program (SAP) experience [Required].
  • Bachelor's degree counts as four years of experience.
  • An Associate's degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.
Clearance
  • TS/SCI clearance [Required].
  • Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required].
Education
  • Bachelor's degree [Desired].
Certifications
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward one year of experience.
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward one year of experience.
  • Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is no more than three years.
  • One year of experience is credited for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years
