Essential Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to perform essential functions - Must be able to carry out all core duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Frequent standing and walking - Continuous movement throughout patient care areas for most of the shift.

• Constant mobility - Regular transitions between rooms, units, and equipment; fast-paced environment with minimal sedentary time.

• Lifting and patient assistance - Occasional lifting, repositioning, or assisting patients using proper equipment and team support.

• Potential physical altercations - May encounter patients who are confused, disoriented, or combative; requires ability to respond safely using de-escalation techniques and team protocols.

• Exposure to clinical conditions - Noise, varying activity levels, bodily fluids, and the need for PPE.

• Multiple competing priorities - Must adapt quickly to changing patient needs, urgent situations, and shifting workflows.

• Use of PPE - Masks, gloves, gowns, and other protective equipment required depending on patient condition.

• Training and safety tools provided - Includes equipment for safe lifting, de-escalation training, and compliance education.

Candidates must be available to work weekends. Our Healthcare Security Officers work closely with patients and hospital staff. Full Time Schedules:

-1st (0700-1500)

-2nd (1500-2300)

-3rd (2300-0700)

Flex:

-1st/2nd

-2nd/3rd

Pay:

-$21.00/hr FT

-$23.00/hr Flex
