Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ludlow, KY, for a Police Officer. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, and conducting investigations as necessary. The Police Officer will also be expected to focus on community-oriented policing, to build positive relationships with members of the community.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug tests and psychological evaluations
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Ability to make independent decisions while adhering to departmental policies and procedures
Graduation from a certified police academy and pass KY POPS hiring standards ()
Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
