Lead Doc Control Specialist, AirportsParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Doc Control Specialist, Airports to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Parsons team at the McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Alcoa, TN.What You'll Be Doing:Assist the Project Manager with daily project administrationReview, log, and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contractor correspondenceUtilizing AI to help streamline day-to-day activities to help improve efficiencyProvide technical support to field staff and act as a liaison between the office and siteCoordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolutionClassify and organize documents by type, entity, date, and statusAssist with writing technical reports and preparing invoices for client submissionVarious responsibilities as needed for the benefit of the ProgramWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:3-5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in aviation or transportation infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of construction documentation, contract administration, and project controlsProficiency with project management and office software (Primavera, MS Project, Procore, and MS Office 365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and an understanding of AI prompts to help make the team more efficientSkilled in technical writing for reports, recommendations, and analysis, including charting and presentation preparationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Previous experience in airport/aviation construction projectsWorking knowledge of MKAA or similar state/local agency requirementsPE/EIT certification or CMIT/CCM or CAPM/PMP credential or ability to achieveSecurity Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
