Ideal candidates have at least 6 years of professional experience with at least 4 in consulting. Grants management experience is a plus. They are interested in homeland security clients and emergency management. Experience in homeland security is important!Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely - depending on client, contract, and company needs. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.Responsibilities Consulting associates apply strong analytical and technical skills to help implement business solutions. They work closely with clients and internal teams to improve operations, solve problems, deliver strategic insights, and deliver solutions. Their responsibilities include:Take full ownership of tasks and workstreams that contribute to the overall project goals and delivering high-quality solutionsManage Federal grant programs, supporting both awardees and client staffAnalyze business problems using interviews, knowledge, context, and quantitative data to identify improvements in processes, organizational structures, and technology for high-priority client initiativesWork closely with clients and teams to build on team and company knowledge to speed up the process for identifying innovative yet practical solutionsCreate high-quality work products and deliverables including documents, presentations, and data dashboards that allow clients to make decisionsTake on new responsibilities and learn the mission/business while maintaining excellent attention to detail, finding ways to exceed client expectationsLead and support projects with a clear understanding of business of consultingContribute and lead company service areas beyond just the project to build new skills and help the company grow by developing our capabilities and selling new businessContribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and developCollaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission resultsApply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clientsRequired Qualifications At least 6 years of professional work experience4 years of consulting and supervising experience or comparable analytical experience in a directly relevant business roleExperience in large, complex Federal government or other nationwide programs with a preferred focus ongrants and program managementProven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyOutstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potentialAbility to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-personTechnologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePointDesire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projectsAbility to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locationsClearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship). The projected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 . This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs.
