Summary

The Domestic Violence Division of the Anchorage Trial Court is accepting applications for a Court Case Manager 1 (Salary Range 10). Under the direct supervision of the DV Supervisor, this position provides a high level of customer service while accepting and processing Domestic Violence, Stalking, and Sexual Assault petitions, managing new filings, and providing ongoing case management throughout the life of each case.Employees transferring from another State of Alaska agency may receive consideration for advance step placement.Employees working in this job classification will be considered for annual salary increases upon successful completion of a 1-year probationary period. This job classification will promote to range 11 after successful completion of three years of service with the court.What will you be doing?The Court Case Manager 1 reviews and accepts Domestic Violence, Stalking, and Sexual Assault filings submitted in person and electronically; opens and maintains case files; researches and links related cases; and processes files following judicial action, including data entry, hearing notices, and distribution of orders. The position also processes Change of Venue cases, provides responsive customer service by phone and at the Clerk's window, and assists the public, attorneys, state agencies, and Court System staff with court-related requests.Additional responsibilities may include maintaining forms and office supplies, preparing files for microfilming in accordance with retention schedules, and providing support to other court divisions as directed.The Work HoursFull-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week.
