This job classification will promote to range 11 after successful completion of three years of service with the court.What will you be doing?Criminal DivisionThis position performs a wide range of criminal case processing duties, including reviewing and filing charging documents, initiating and maintaining cases in CourtView, scheduling court dates, processing warrants, summonses, bail and bond documents, and coordinating prisoner transport. The position routes documents for judicial review, processes orders and case actions, manages Grand Jury and search warrant matters, reopens and closes cases, and ensures accurate and timely distribution of court documents to involved parties and agencies.The role also provides assistance to customers and internal staff, conducts financial interviews to determine eligibility for Court Appointed Counsel, and, upon completion of training, participates in live courtroom proceedings to process hearings, case dispositions, financial obligations, and future court dates as ordered by the Judicial Officer.Occasional duties when working in the Traffic DivisionProvides professional and courteous customer service by answering questions, directing the public to appropriate courtrooms and agencies, and assisting with court-related processes. Receives and processes fine and electronic payments, balances daily receipts, and maintains accurate financial records. Accepts and routes filings, researches citations and cases using APSIN and CourtView, and assists with case processing from initiation through closure. The position also supports court calendaring, minor offense hearings, default judgment processes, and requests to set aside default judgments, while ensuring documents, notices, and communications are accurately processed and distributed.The Work HoursFull-time Employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.Upon proper training, Staff may be assigned to work Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and could also be assigned to work weekends, and holidays temporarily as needed.
