Summary
Securitas Technology seeks a 911 Dispatcher to support our integrated electronic security and life safety solutions for commercial and enterprise clients. In this role, you will answer and prioritize 911 and security-related calls, monitor alarms, and dispatch appropriate police, fire, medical, or security responders using advanced Computer-Aided Dispatch and monitoring platforms. You will gather critical incident details, document all activity accurately, and coordinate with internal security specialists and field teams. Responsibilities
- Answer and triage 911 and security-related emergency calls from commercial and enterprise customers
- Collect critical incident details and assess priority using established protocols and scripts
- Dispatch police, fire, medical, and security resources via CAD and radio systems
- Monitor electronic security, intrusion, and life safety alarms and initiate appropriate response
- Maintain accurate, real-time records of calls, actions, and incident outcomes in dispatch systems
- Coordinate with internal security specialists and field technicians to support incident resolution
- Follow company and local public safety procedures, ensuring compliance and documentation standards
- Communicate calmly and professionally with callers in high-stress, time-sensitive situations
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners to improve processes
- Participate in ongoing training on new technologies, systems, and emergency response best practices
