Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionLead sophisticated white collar criminal defense and government investigation matters from initial inquiry through resolution.Represent companies, executives, professionals, and other individuals facing federal and state investigations, enforcement actions, and criminal proceedings.Develop strategy for government investigations, grand jury matters, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and related litigation.Advise clients responding to subpoenas, investigative demands, interviews, and government scrutiny.Handle complex factual and legal analysis while developing creative, practical defense strategies.Take significant responsibility for written advocacy, witness preparation, negotiations, hearings, trials, and other proceedings as appropriate.Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across offices in lean matter teams.Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the development of the firm's litigation talent.Build and strengthen client relationships while executing a thoughtful business development plan.Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the firm's white collar defense and investigations practice.QualificationsFederal judicial clerkship required.Active bar license in good standing.Significant experience in white collar criminal defense, government investigations, internal investigations, or closely related enforcement matters.Senior level law firm experience appropriate for a Counsel or Partner position.Strong federal court, investigative, litigation, writing, and advocacy skills.Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated matters and senior level client relationships.Excellent judgment, analytical ability, communication skills, and professional credibility.Business plan required.Government enforcement experience, including prior DOJ, U.S. Attorney's Office, SEC, or comparable agency experience, is valued but not required.Why You Will Love Working HereThis is an opportunity to practice at an exceptionally high level without getting lost inside a massive organization.
