As an Emergency Services Dispatcher, you are the first point of contact with the public via both emergency 911 phone lines and non-emergency phone lines. You must obtain information from callers who may be injured, confused, angered, hysterical, frightened, or abused. You'll then communicate effectively to dispatch city police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical services on emergency and non-emergency calls.
