Friends Of Sherrod Brown: Special Assistant
Friends Of Sherrod Brown is seeking a Special Assistant for the 2026 campaign cycle. The Special Assistant is a key member of the Operations team working directly with external and internal stakeholders to support a busy schedule and help advance the campaign's overall goals.
The Special Assistant will be critical to ensuring the Senator's timely travel around the state and in keeping the campaign running smoothly. The position requires discretion at all times and an understanding of the magnitude of handling confidential information. This position also requires an individual with a valid driver's license and a comfort level driving in all parts of Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Driving the principle to and from events
- Reviewing the principle's schedule to ensure that it is accurate and the principle has everything he needs every day
- Staffing the principle and/or other surrogates at events or any other staffing responsibilities that may arise
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
- A positive attitude and a self-starter mentality
- A strong ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Strong teamwork skills, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues and peers
