Logistician 2: Federal Customer (Chantilly, VA)(onsite - 5 days per week: TS/SCI Required)Job summaryThe Logistics & Warehouse Operations professional supports Dell Mission Operations by ensuring mission equipment, materials, and supply workflows are received, tracked, stored, issued, and replenished accurately in a secure environment. This role is responsible for inventory control, warehouse operations, procurement coordination, and asset accountability across day-to-day program execution. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate logistics processes in support of mission continuity.Key responsibilitiesClosely follows processes for receiving, storage, issuance, transfer, and shipping of program equipment and materialsMaintain accurate inventory and asset accountability records across warehouse and field operationsCoordinate procurement requests, order tracking, and vendor follow-up activitiesSupport material planning and replenishment to meet operational demandConduct cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolutionPrepare logistics status updates, inventory reports, and exception reportingEnsure compliance with site procedures, safety standards, and security requirementsPartner with program, engineering, and field teams to prioritize mission-critical material needsRequired qualificationsExperience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or asset management operationsExperience with inventory systems, ERP tools, or warehouse tracking platformsStrong understanding of asset control, shipping/receiving, and materials handling processesAbility to work onsite in a secure or controlled environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials weighing up to 50-75 pounds.Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the programPreferred qualificationsExperience supporting government or classified programsProperty book, asset accountability, or secure inventory experienceExperience with KPI reporting, process improvement, or lean operationsExperience coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, or internal procurement teamsForklift, cage, or secure warehouse operations experience, if applicableWork environment / program contextThis role operates in a secure, mission-driven environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and auditability are essential.
