Summary
Investigative Counsel
Under the general guidance of the four Commissioners of the State Commission of Investigation and the specific direction of the Executive Director and Director/Special Counsel, Investigative Counsel shall plan, develop, organize and supervise fact-finding investigations. These investigations include organized crime and racketeering, the conduct of public officials and employees and any other matters concerning the public peace, safety and justice.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited law school. Holding of a current license in good standing to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
Three to five years as a practicing attorney, preferably in prosecutorial work in law enforcement and/or in the conduct of complex civil or other types of fact-finding investigations.
Membership in the New Jersey State Bar Association.
