Summary

Surveillance Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
  • Ensure protection of company assets, team members, and guests and compliance with Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission regulations through effective installation, movement, and placement of surveillance equipment.
  • Repair and maintain all surveillance department CCTV equipment.
  • Work with outside vendors as necessary to oversee on-site work.
  • Monitor casino games, bank, cage, slots, count room, and all areas of property under camera coverage.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, and team member and guest information.
  • Track and complete all government reporting.
  • Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Target Compensation Range:

  • $24 per hour

Qualifications:

Experience:

Gaming industry experience is preferred. Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company. Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills. An Associate's degree in information technology or similar field, two years of surveillance experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
