\nBAE Systems is seeking a Supplier Quality Technician to support programs in the value streams within the CAS Business Area. The Quality Technician will support the Receiving Inspection and manufacturing floor with quality issues, react to key program metrics, participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations, drive corrective actions, and foster continuous improvements.\n
\n
\nSpecific responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n
- \n
- Protect CAS from shipping nonconforming material by Inspecting/Containing NC material.\n
- Facilitate RCCA with Corrective and Preventative Actions.\n
- Manage Hardware Dispositions (QC Holds) with material at Receiving or Floor rejections\n
- Manage RMA to vendors.\n
- Manage suppliers for correct conformity Quality documentation. (Including outsource service products)\n
- Review Conformity of product based on Requirements (such as Drawing, command media...)\n
- Part issue investigation/ Coordination with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering)\n
- Data (KPI) Trending.\n
- Action projects tracking and closure. (f.i. NC material inventory reduction).\n
- Commodity Review based on Receiving inspection process.\n
- Audit support.\n
- Pre-Qualification Parts Tracking\n

Required Education, Experience, & Skills \n
\n
- \n
- High School Diploma and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience\n
- A passion for process improvement\n
- Well-organized\n
- Strong communicator capable of working through complex issues with peers, management and multiple functions\n
- Manufacturing experience\n
- Ability to mine data and visually display\n
- Technical mindset\n
\n
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills \n
\n
- \n
- Mechanical background with an understanding of electrical components and Circuit Card Assemblies.\n
- Experience with Oracle systems, FLX factory Logix, PowerBI and/or Apex is a plus.\n
- Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material.\n
- Familiarity with IPC J-STD-001 Standard Soldering Requirements.\n
- Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.\n
- Experience with root cause corrective action investigations.\n
- Experience with metric trending.\n
Pay Information\n
\nFull-Time Salary Range: $55150 - $93755\n
\n
\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. \n
\n
