This position sits at the intersection of market research, competitive intelligence, data analytics, and business strategy, transforming complex information into actionable insights that support executive decision-making and business growth.The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and intellectually curious professional who can move beyond collecting information to identify market trends, business opportunities, competitive threats, customer needs, and strategic implications. The position requires the ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative information and communicate findings through clear, compelling presentations and executive-level storytelling.Depending on the assigned business area, the analyst will develop expertise in areas such as AI/data center infrastructure, power systems, thermal management, energy storage, renewable energy, microgrids, distributed energy resources, electrification, and energy management technologies.Key responsibilitiesMarket Intelligence : Monitor industry, technology, regulatory, and macroeconomic trends; assess market size, growth, TAM/SAM/SOM, and emerging opportunities.Competitive Intelligence : Track competitors' products, technologies, pricing, positioning, partnerships, M&A, financial performance, and strategic direction; identify competitive gaps and market threats.Customer & Market Analysis : Research target customers, market segments, industry value chains, and buying drivers; identify key accounts, partners, and emerging market opportunities.Strategic Analysis : Translate market and competitive insights into recommendations supporting business strategy, product roadmaps, go-to-market initiatives, partnerships, and business development.Industry & Technology Research : Identify emerging technologies, business models, and market developments relevant to data centers, power and cooling, energy infrastructure, microgrids, and related markets.Executive Reporting : Prepare concise, data-driven PowerPoint presentations, market briefings, competitive reports, dashboards, and strategic analyses for management and cross-functional stakeholders.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Product Management, Sales, Business Development, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.Ad-Hoc Analysis : Respond quickly to emerging business questions and executive requests through focused research, analysis, and recommendations.Research Management : Gather, validate, and synthesize information from industry reports, company filings, financial disclosures, market databases, customer research, conferences, and other reliable sources.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to collect, analyze, synthesize, and communicate complex market and business information.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications3–5 years of related experience in market research, competitive intelligence, business analytics, or management consulting.Strategic thinking, executive communication, narrative storytelling, cross-functional collaborationAble to work in a fast-paced, quick reporting turn-around environmentPrioritize interviews for candidates willing to provide a sample report in PowerPoint slideProficient English, Chinese is a plus but not a mustEEO StatementDelta Electronics Americas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
