We provide programs and services that serve, involve, and advocate for our military community, its members and families, and address the unique military lifestyle challenges, resulting in an enhanced quality of life. The PMFRC envisions a community of strong, capable, resilient Canadian Armed Forces families. For more information on who we are, please visit us at PMFRC Website .The Role(s) Under the direction of the Employment Services Coordinator, this position is responsible for developing and delivering employment workshops and employment support services. This includes the development of business partnerships, identifying new employment partners, and actively researching potential job opportunities for the Employment Services client base. Employment Services supports the people of Ontario, including all Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, and their families. We have two offices, one located in Petawawa and one in Deep River. This position works out of the Petawawa and Deep River offices on a regular rotational basis. The role is also responsible for ensuring that program activities and services align with the PMFRC strategic plan.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Human Resources, Employment Counselling, or a related field orCollege diploma in Social Services, Human Resources, Employment Counselling, or a related field orAn equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experienceExperience Client assessment and case managementAll facets of job search and career development, including the ability to analyze training and development needsExperience working in not-for-profit organizationsMeasuring and analyzing service performanceStrong facilitation skills and experience preparing and delivering workshops to small and medium-sized groupsEffectively applying sales principles to generate job leads and secure employment opportunities for clientsPlacement experience supporting individuals with multiple barriers to employment (considered a strong asset)#J-18808-Ljbffr
