OverviewGalapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Training Specialist, SME position. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented group of individuals committed to driving success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and managing comprehensive training and knowledge‑sharing programs that support successful adoption and effective use of the BMC3I Elite platform. This role builds organizational capability by designing training materials, facilitating hands‑on learning, maintaining knowledge repositories, and ensuring that users, administrators, and stakeholders have the skills needed to fully leverage BMC3I Elite capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deliver BMC3I Elite training programs, including user guides, e‑learning modules, quick‑reference materials, and classroom/virtual sessionsCreate role‑based training paths for end users, administrators, program teams, and leadershipConduct hands‑on workshops, demonstrations, and platform orientation sessionsDevelop and maintain knowledge bases, FAQs, SOPs, and training repositories within BMC3I Elite or related systemsEnsure documentation is accurate, up to date, and aligned with system enhancements or process changesImplement structured knowledge transfer plans for new features, upgrades, and onboarding effortsCollaborate with technical teams to understand system updates, workflows, and configurations and translate them into training materialsLeverage BMC3I Elite capabilities such as notifications, knowledge modules, dashboards, or workflows to improve training delivery and content accessSupport user adoption strategies during platform upgrades, migrations, or new capability rolloutsWork with program managers, business units, and IT stakeholders to assess training needs and learning objectivesProvide leadership briefings, training status updates, and adoption metricsFacilitate feedback sessions to evaluate training effectiveness and user experienceImplement best practices in instructional design, adult learning, and knowledge managementMonitor training analytics, platform usage, and feedback to refine training contentRecommend improvements to processes, tools, and workflows that support organizational learning and capability maturitySkills & ExperienceActive TS/SCI with SAP Eligible12+ years of experience in training development, knowledge management, instructional design, or user supportExperience with BMC3I Elite, BMC3I Helix, or similar ITSM/ESM platformsStrong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training developmentAbility to create documentation, training guides, video tutorials, and knowledge base articlesExperience with workflow automation, dashboards, or knowledge management modules in enterprise platformsFamiliarity with ITSM processes, service delivery, and digital transformation initiativesExperience training diverse audiences in technical or enterprise environmentsStrong presentation, facilitation, and communication skillsAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly training contentProven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environmentsEducation & CertificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education/Training, Information Systems, Communications, Business Administration, or a related fieldPreferredMaster's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Learning TechnologiesCertified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD)Instructional design or e‑learning certifications (ATD, LearningTree, etc.)ITIL v4 FoundationBMC3I Elite/BMC3I Helix platform certification or trainingProsci Change Management CertificationBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts401(k)PTOPaid Parental LeaveTuition reimbursementPaid federal holidaysSecurity ClearanceMust be a U.S. Citizen.
