Metric5As a Senior Acquisition Specialist at Metric5 you will provide information technology acquisition support to a major U.S. Army command to deliver full spectrum IT commodities and services for a globally connected Army that offers Soldiers, Commanders and supporting organizations the ability to access, process and act upon information anytime, anywhere across a Joint Information Environment.ProgramThe project you will be working is to assist a DoD U.S. Army command with acquiring and managing software. You will work directly with the stakeholders to elicit requirements and ensure that the contracts are awarded on time and within budget.Skills & RequirementsHave an understanding and experience with large, complex Government IT projects and organizations. Works both procedural and technical aspects involving methods, procedures, principles, theories, and techniques used in the acquisition program area.Have a working knowledge of the DoD Directive 5000.01 Acquisition regulations.Supports Government PM and technical experts on contractual matters based on a working knowledge of acquisition regulations and policy.Experience with developing Performance Work Statements (PWSs) for software requirements.Knowledge and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.Desired Skills:DoD experience either as a support contractor or as a Government civilian.Years of Experience8+ years of experience or moreEducationBachelor's degreeClearanceU.S. Citizenship required, and at least a DoD Secret Level ClearanceSalary$120,000 - $140,000 annuallyAbout Metric5Metric5 is a small business with big company benefits.
