Acquisition SpecialistLocation: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MDClearance Required: Secret ClearanceThis position is contingent upon contract award.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesExperience developing Acquisition Requirement Packages and contract strategies.Experience in establishing contract milestones in coordination with the requiring activity and the Army Contracting Command (ACC).Experience in document writing during the Integrated Product Team process. Participate with various milestone and programmatic reviews.Act as a liaison between the PMs and ACC.Experience with risk analysis on contracting milestones.Subject matter expertise in impacts of new contracting regulations/guidance.Ability to initiate acquisition strategies and plans. Experience developing, maintaining and tracking acquisition program baseline documents.Ability to initiate long‑range plans and program accomplishments relating to program objectives, taking into account any known or potential budgetary, schedule or technical constraints.Knowledgeable with DoDI 5000.02 and all acquisition streamlining reform initiatives.QualificationsA minimum of ten (10) years experience as an Acquisition Specialist is required.Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting.Substitutions: Four (4) additional years of related experience will substitute for Bachelor's degree.Equal Opportunity StatementSemper Valens Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
