Join us!Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for conducting financial crime investigations to identify, assess, and elevate potentially suspicious activity. Investigators analyze complex customer and transactional information, evaluate risk, identify patterns that may indicate financial crimes, and determine appropriate next steps based on the facts and available evidence.Successful investigators apply sound judgment, professional curiosity, and critical thinking to reach well‑supported conclusions. They clearly document investigative findings, articulate risk‑based decisions, and ensure work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements, enterprise policies, and quality standards. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple investigations while producing work that withstands regulatory and independent review.ResponsibilitiesCompletes investigations to meet or exceed quality and production expectationsCompletes Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) in a timely and accurate manner for submission to regulators and\/or law enforcementReports facts of the investigation to senior stakeholdersAnalyze financial transactions to assess whether activity is suspicious and warrants further investigation.Manage the full investigation lifecycle, from initial review through documentation and resolution.Gather and evaluate relevant information to support sound decision‑making throughout the investigative process.Required QualificationsTechnical proficiency and the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple investigative systems and tools simultaneouslyPossesses excellent verbal and written communication skillsActs with a sense of urgency and creates this in othersDemonstrates problem-solving, analytical & organizational skillsActs decisively and with good judgmentMust be flexible & adaptable; ability to handle multiple and shifting prioritiesThinks strategically and willingly participates in projects and other opportunitiesMotivated individual who always maintains a positive and professional attitudeHigh emphasis around identifying and managing riskAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDesired Qualifications1+ years in AML or financial crimes investigationFamiliarity with transaction monitoring and case management systemsCAMS certification (or working toward it) a plusSkillsProfessional curiosity and investigative mindsetStrong analytical and critical‑thinking skillsAttention to Detail and accuracyAbility to synthesize large amounts of data from multiple sourcesSound risk judgment and escalation disciplineStrong written communication skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsTechnical proficiency and the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple investigative systems and tools simultaneouslyRegulatory ComplianceAdherence to policies, procedures, and guidelinesAdaptability & Commitment to Continuous ImprovementShift1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week40#J-18808-Ljbffr
