This National Guard position is for a POLICE OFFICER (INDEF) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2499P01 and is part of the 151st SFS located in Salt Lake City, with the Utah Air National Guard. Priority will be given to all current, onboard employees of the UTANG. The selecting supervisor for this vacancy is SMSgt Tyson L. Understanding of the basic principles and concepts of military security forces functions, laws, policies, regulations, rules, procedures, and methods. Also, have general experience performing functions such as weapon systems and resource security, air base defense, law enforcement; and, if applicable for the position, experience in handling military working dog functions or combat arms functions? Specialized Experience: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-0083-6. (Must provide SF 50 to validate response) OR Have experience that provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property. Creditable specialized experience may have been gained in work on a police force; through service as a military police officer; in work providing visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or other natural resource or recreational environments; in performing criminal investigative duties; or in other work that provided the required knowledge and skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
