The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of US clearing market practices and be ready to take ownership of daily operations, controls, and client service.Role and responsibilitiesSupervise outsourced/offsite support teams on a daily basis to ensure transactions are processed accurately and controls are maintainedEnsure all positions and balances in the firm's DTC/OCC accounts are in sync with internal systems at all timesMonitor OCC activity including CMTA flows, exercises and assignments, and make sure all clearinghouse margin requirements are metOwn problem resolution for escalated transaction exceptions and failures, and liaise with Natixis affiliates using Natixis as their US clearing providerValidate outbound invoices, oversee the allocation of clearinghouse charges, and prepare recurring management reportingPartner with Front Office teams on change management initiatives and coordinate responses to audit and regulatory requestsQualifications3+ years of experience in Financial Services, ideally in Banking or Brokerage operations with direct exposure to post-trade and settlementsStrong knowledge of DTC including positions management, reconciliations and exception resolution, plus working knowledge of OCC margin management and CMTA flowsExperience with Stock Borrow/Loan (US and/or Foreign) and Equity Tri-Party operationsBroadridge Shadow platform experience is a plusAt Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including:Competitive salary between USD $90,000 - US$125,000401(k) retirement plan with company matching15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out)8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per yearCompany health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSAVoluntary STD and LTDAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
