Starting hourly rate | $30.01 6 Months | $30.76Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty inspecting housing for code violations, making inspections for environmental, zoning and sanitary code violations and prepares official correspoHigh school diploma and four years of responsible experience in the building construction trades, home inspection, environmental inspection, public relations or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Must have ability to handle difficult people and situations successfully.Must possess and maintain throughout duration of employment a valid driver's license.Obtain and maintain certification through the International Code Council, American Association of Code Enforcement, as a property maintenance housing inspector or equivalent within six (6) months of employment and maintain throughout duration of employment as a Code Enforcement Officer II.Must pass a background check as prescribed by the City of Davenport.#J-18808-Ljbffr
