The ideal candidate will have a strong STEM background, solid problem-solving skills in unstructured domains, and the ability to bridge technical and business needs.ResponsibilitiesData Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and explore data from various business and IT applications to extract actionable insights.Exploratory Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends relevant to solving business problems.Algorithm Development: Design and codify algorithms and solutions that address complex business challenges and drive process optimization.Predictive Modeling & AI: Develop and implement predictive models and AI-driven solutions to enhance decision-making and process performance.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather domain knowledge and ensure alignment between data solutions and business needs.Process Modeling & Optimization: Apply knowledge of process modeling, mining, and simulation to optimize complex business processes.Tool Development: Build and document analytical tools and solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing workflows.Skills and QualificationsEducational Background: Master's degree in a STEM field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA, or equivalent programming languages.Data Handling Expertise: Strong knowledge of databases, data extraction, and data manipulation techniques.Analytical Methods: Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and AI/ML techniques.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve problems in unstructured domains using a logical and systematic approach.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience in working with business and IT teams to extract domain knowledge and relevant data.Process Modeling: Knowledge of process modeling and optimization techniques.Knowledge of process mining tools and techniques.Experience with process simulation models for process optimization.Familiarity with statistical software such as JMP or equivalent packages.CompensationThe anticipated salary ranges is $115,000 to $133,000 for positions based in [NJ & NY] at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will be ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.
